Writing Music for Film

A successful film score always enhances and never dominates the film content. Learning how to create the perfect balance between movie and music is not a quick fix, however in our carefully condensed course, we aim to create that balance at its first stage and here is how:

If you have a passion for film music, you will love this quick study course! You will be given a brief to create the soundtrack for a film trailer provided by us in a choice of genres. You will be required to create your very own soundtrack from concept to completion which will then be assessed by one of our team of dedicated industry professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer literate with an understanding of basic Logic concepts. (These are covered in our 'Intro to Music Production and Logic' course)

SESSION SCHEDULE

• Tuesday or Friday 10:30am to 1:45pm

OTHER INFORMATION

• Strictly limited to 2 students per session

• All materials provided (including lunch)
