Introduction to Sound Design

In this exciting Quick Study course, you will discover the process of recording, acquiring, manipulating or generating audio elements into your project.

Be it film, television production, theatre or sound recording, our course will give you the solid foundation required to progress your skill and here's how:

You will be given a practical task led assignment gathering information from a given brief and gaining a clear understanding of the production concept. You will then compose, edit and mix your work which will then be assessed in detail by one of our panel of industry experts.

REQUIREMENTS

• A well developed sense of hearing

• A basic understanding of musical genre

• Sensitivity to timbre, rhythm melody and harmony

• A great imagination!

SESSION SCHEDULE

• Monday or Wednesday 10:30 to 1:45pm

• Strictly limited to 2 students per session

• All materials provided (including lunch)
